Fresh fruit is the perfect end to any meal. It’s the best choice for every day meals. Nothing to prepare and good fruit is always satisfying.

The best fruit of all is berries. Any kind of berries – strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, or any other. If you can’t get fresh berries, frozen will do. Put a half cup of frozen berries in a bowl before you start preparing the meal and by the time the meal ends, the berries will be perfectly thawed.

If you don’t have berries, then get something that’s in season. Apricots in the spring, peaches and plums in the summer. In the fall try pears. The winter is citrus time, with oranges or tangerines.

Another fruit that’s good and seems to be available year round because of it’s tropical origin is the banana.
