Chocolate Pudding

Puddings made in the microwave are not just quicker than even “instant” puddings. Puddings made in the microwave are close to perfection.

This pudding can be eaten hot, warm or cold. Use the best chocolate you can get.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
1 2/3 cup half-and-half
1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips (or break up a chocolate bar that's 72% or more cocoa)

Put the arrowroot powder  into a microwave safe bowl. Stir in half-and-half, mixing until smooth. Add the chocolate. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir. Microwave for another 2 minutes. Stir again and return to the microwave. Cook another 30 seconds to 2 minutes (depending on your microwave) until it thick. Remove from the microwave and pour into serving bowls.
