Boiled eggs

Hard boiled eggs are a convenience food. You’ll have an “instant” egg ready for breakfast or any other time.

This is the 10 minute boiled egg.

6 large eggs

Put the eggs in a sauce pan big enough to hold all the eggs in a single layer. Fill the pan with water to an inch above the eggs. Turn on heat to high and bring to a full boil. When a full boil is reach, remove the pan from the heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes remove the eggs from the pan and put them in a bowl filled with water and ice for 5 minutes. Getting the boiled eggs cold quickly will make them easier to peel.
